Active Ageing Council – 18th December 2011

On 18th December, over 2,400 seniors from the Active Ageing Council visited A Moving Masterpiece. Equipped with the multi-lingual audio guides, our genial seniors were transported back in time, deepening their understanding of the ancient Song Dynasty. A Moving Masterpiece presents A Henan Cultural Showcase

See exciting performances from Henan in a special 30-minute cultural presentation. Each showcase includes Shaolin monks demonstrating martial art techniques, Chinese dance performances and the famed Justice Bao opera. Four shows daily from Saturday, 10 Dec – Wednesday, 14 Dec in A Moving Masterpiece Post-Show Hall. Open to the public.

		On the opening day of the exhibition, come meet the man who turned the dream of A Moving Masterpiece into reality. For one day only, join YU ZHENG - the Creative Director of "A Moving Masterpiece: The Song Dynasty as Living Art" - in a special extended session in the Main Hall as he tells you about the inspiration behind the project, the extensive research, technology, and painstaking re-creation of the animation painting.		Learn about Crystal CG’s journey with Qing Ming Shang He Tu as Yu Zheng takes you through the challenges and highlights of the exhibition, and see why millions of viewers were left amazed by what they saw. Crystal CG, a leader in the digital graphics technology industry, has rich experience in providing creative visual solutions for internationally renowned events which include the Beijing Olympics, the World Expo 2010 Shanghai and the upcoming 2012 Olypmic games in London.
